The Baines Story

With 15 stores statewide, Baines Manchester is recognised as the leading Retail Manchester chain in Western Australia, supplying homewares and Manchester to customers for over 55 years.

Baines has a long and proud history beginning in Bentley in 1954, growing to a vibrant company today that employs 80 staff.

The introduction of the "Baines"brand in 1990 identified products that reached the strict level of quality required by the company.  This brand has expanded and is now identified by customers as a seal of excellence.

Having a distribution centre centrally located in Welshpool, WA, means prompt delivery to stores north and south of the river.  This allows us to provide customers with an efficient "SpecialOrder"service and the flexiblilty to move stock quickly as required.

With Mr Baines working at the head office daily, it enables "quick response" to changes in the market and demonstrates the ongoing passion and commitment the Baines family has to its customers.
